Travel Around Townsville, with Dollar

One of the main attractions of Townsville is its proximity to natural beauty and incredible wildlife - both on land and in the sea. With the Great Barrier Reef, one of the seven wonders of the natural world, located on its doorstep, it’s easy to see why many people choose Townsville as their vacation destination.

Townsville is the gateway to the central section of the Great Barrier Reef; an incredible underwater wonderland filled with diverse fish, coral, and marine life. There are many day trips available for tourists to explore this natural phenomenon, which makes for a once in a lifetime trip.

Another way to enjoy the Great Barrier Reef is from above.
