Although a bit further of a drive away at 50 minutes, Australia Zoo is a must-visit for kids. This hub of animals is famous the world over for giving visitors an insight into Australia’s native wildlife, even offering the opportunity to get up close and personal to a wombat or a quokka. If you and the family are after sea creatures instead, head to Sea Life Sunshine Coast, about a 40 minute drive from Noosa Heads. Here you’ll find a bunch of sea animals, big and small, and you’ll be able to walk through an underwater world unlike any other.
