Start your journey in New Norfolk, the gateway to the Derwent Valley and just a 40-minute drive from Hobart. This historic town sits right on the Derwent River and makes a great first stop. Wander along the riverside, browse through antique stores, or grab a bite at one of the local bakeries. If you're travelling with little ones, Tynwald Park is a perfect spot for a play and picnic.
Salmon Ponds: A Tasty Little Detour
